The Business Office of Cardiology of Virginia is ready to assist patients with all of their insurance and billing questions and is committed to work with each patient to resolve their unique payment issues.

Insurances Accepted Cardiology of Virginia accepts Medicare, Anthem, CIGNA, Aetna, Humana, United HealthCare, Southern Health and other major insurance carriers. We file with all other insurance companies for our patients. Please note it is the patients’ responsibility to be aware of any restrictions they may have concerning their coverage. Each patient should bring a current insurance card to each appointment and should come prepared with their co-payment, if one is required. We accept major credit cards, checks and cash. Please remember that many insurance companies require a referral from a primary care physician before being seen by a specialist. It is the patient’s responsibility to obtain this referral from their primary care physician. If the patient is unable to obtain this or is uninsured, arrangements will need to be made or the appointment rescheduled until necessary referrals are obtained. Please contact us at 804-560-8828 with any questions.
